Sometimes the things we strongly hope for don't eventuate. Trouble doesn't go away as we want it to. It feels difficult to trust that God is doing anything positive. We feel that God is, in fact, a million miles away. So what should we do?
Hang in during the tough times. Tim Hall once said, "You only keep what you hang on to in the tough times." He also stated "You only are what you are in the tough times."
Hmmm.

Faith in God
Proverbs 3:5-6 is my own definition of Faith in God.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Prov 3:5-6)
Because "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrew 11:6)
